Today, I will be reposting Kimberly's special words of thanks and appreciation to everyone for your prayers and support for Luke and her family over the past 2 1/2 years. This also gives an update and more detail about our trip to Boston this Sunday morning. I also want to thank you for your love and prayers!

My dad, Lukey and I will be making our way to Boston in the morning! He’s been getting in all the cuddles with his daddy all day.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers! I firmly believe Luke wouldn’t be here and we wouldn’t be heading to Boston Children’s tomorrow without your prayers. Thank you for your faithfulness! I will never be able to express my gratitude!
We have a consultation with Dr. Warf at 10:45 on Monday. Please continue to pray for this appointment. Whether he has some new course of treatment or ideas or whether he says our team has done all the right things, I will be satisfied. It’s just a fresh set of eyes on his scan and him physically. There are several things I have concerns about to address with him.
But even though we are getting this second (technically third) opinion, do not think for one second that I take our neurosurgery team for granted. I know they have spent countless hours discussing Luke’s very special case and reviewing imaging. They have told us we are a part of the neurosurgery team and Luke is their unicorn baby. We love each and every one of them and all they have done for Luke. They have been taking care of him since he was only weeks old and a pound and some change. I trust them with his life. They will always be our home team. Carilion will always be our home hospital. And we are forever grateful for them saving his life on numerous occasions.
We love you all and thank you for all you’ve done and meant to our family for the last 2.5 years. Luke is our miracle. And he brings so much joy. God really outdid Himself with this one.
And a special thank you to my daddy who is taking us. He just got back from India this week and is already making this long trek with us!
Also, thank you to those of you that have given financially to support us getting there, we appreciate it so very much!!
